Melissa Gonzales has dedicated her life to education, beginning her teaching career in 2006 in Texas, where she worked with children in various programs, including inclusion, Pre-K, and Grades 2 and 3. Her passion for teaching and desire to experience diverse cultures led her to continue her journey in the United Arab Emirates in 2016, where she taught in Al Ain and Dubai. With over 15 years of experience, Melissa holds a degree in Psychology, along with studies in Sociology and Early Childhood Education.
Driven by a deep calling, Melissa strives to make a lasting impact on children’s lives. To her, teaching is not just about academic learning; it’s about helping children recognize their uniqueness, build confidence, and develop self-love from an early age. As an author, she dreams of creating stories that inspire children to believe in themselves and reach for their dreams. Through her debut book, I Love My Sloppy Squishy Face, she hopes to guide children toward a future filled with love, confidence, and self-acceptance.
